As said twitter will be the marketing tool for 2009 so we can’t stay out of this race.

So we started a Twitter account.  http://www.twitter.com/cenetwork

This was pretty fast done, allthough not to my liking. So next step was changing the background image which actually has a weird size 1920×1707.

Ok so we have our twitter page now content … always the most difficult part there is.

Lucky there is a site called twitterfeed.com

Twitterfeed is a luxery if you have sites that have RSS feeds, so we added the feeds of CETWG, CEGD, CE-ezine and CE forums. Updating our twitter account every hour with the latest feeds of our network.

Once that part was done, we need to reach the millions of users on twitter. There is actually a nice tool for this also. See it as a old Pyramid scheme that gets used differently.

The system is relative simple and gets you 1000s of followers in a very short time with no work at all site is http://tweetergetter.com/cenetwork

So after a few hours our twitter account gets slowly populated and runs almost auto. A human check is always needed imo allthough you could have it run without even looking at it.
