Not really a post mortem but more closing Amazon-Survival ( AS ) for a undetermined time.
What went wrong ?
Being dependend on third parties (nyna, scarlet) , in other words giving to much decision power away.
So what got decided that went wrong ?
The balancing of the game was seen from a player perspective instead of a commercial. So it resulted in making the premium features worthless to buy. The competitive factor in the game was due to the premium features just like in every crime/mafia based game.
This caused that AS is a loss revenue wise, so it’s better to close it till a new structure is in place. This might be a full reset for all players.
Can’t you sell it to someone that wants to blow again life in it ?
Yes, we can sell it but it wouldn’t be fair to the third parties (nyna and scarlet) that put a lot of volunteer time in Amazon-Survival. So this will be a no at the moment.
What was the engine used for AS ?
The engine is a modified version by nyna of mccode obtained by mdshare from Isomizerer for the price of $2000.
What was the operating cost for AS ?
Without taking advertising into account the operation cost is USD 2000 / year ( custom installed dedicated server )
Will you keep us up to date when the game will be launched again ?
Yes, we will keep you informed on changes and a possible restart.
Will you start another game ?
The answer on this is a no at the moment, we will focus on browser game related websites.

can you start the game as soon as possible please because i am a active player and i would like to start as soon as possible.

The cost of running the game is higher than the revenue. So that’s why we closed the game for the time being. A relaunch date isn’t set in stone yet.
All data is saved, not sure yet with a relaunch, might be 2 servers. One with the old data (your current profiles) and one with fresh data (restart).

May I suggest a bi monthly update as the any progress with a re launch? Whilst I appreciate all comments made by mdshare, Nyna and Scarlett re losses this is not the players fault. As with any business venture a ‘Management Buy In’ (MBI)can expect losses in its first financial year, surely it is down to the ‘directors’ to put a plan in place to turn it around into a cash positve position. The ground work has partially been completed (And a good job too)and it seems an awful lot of effort has been put in to give up so early in in its life.
I miss AS, I cant wait until it relaunches again
PPL, Manz and esspically u BornSurvior Big words dont help if you think you are a big man try to fix the old AS no relaunches cuz thats just every1 starting another game we would rather join another 1 you know cuz its about to be a month when the post mortem started and there are no signs of a new game or the old 1 so as i said the Big words cannot start the game again Big man so keep those words to start the game cuz the game has not stated yet. I do not mean to be rude but its just piss taking so i cant help myself but i cant only request for you to start the game.
